Dr. Joseph Salhab is a double board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He completed his internship and residency in 2016, followed by a fellowship in Gastroenterology in 2019 at the Nova Southeastern University Hospital System, where he was awarded Chief Resident of Internal Medicine and Chief Fellow of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Salhab is now in his sixth year of practice, specializing in both chronic and acute gastrointestinal diseases. He practices in Central Florida. With over 3 million followers across social media as ‘thestomachdoc’ and more than 100 million views, Dr. Salhab is a trusted and influential voice in gastrointestinal health. His main research interests focus on colon cancer and the gut microbiome.
